The city features a kaleidoscope of colourful blooms and you'll be immersed in a floral dreamland as you wander through sweet-smelling gardens.

The destinations were then given a score and ranked accordingly.

Ottawa, Ontario is the only Canadian destination to make the list and it came in at number five.

The city is known for its annual Canadian Tulip Festival which is taking place from May 10 to 20, 2024. The celebration features around 1 million tulips and is the largest festival of its kind in the world, according to Ottawa Tourism.

The festival includes a daily tulip market, movies in the park, a blacklit tulip garden and more.

"Not only is Ottawa a beautiful city to visit, but also a top destination for flower lovers who want the ultimate scenery to watch flowers bloom this spring and summertime," a Planet Cruise representative said in a press release.
