It's patio time!

Who's hungry? With the warm weather finally here, it's the perfect time to enjoy a meal or drink while soaking up some sun on a patio.
Ottawa has lots of great spots where you can dine alfresco, and these three local restaurants where just named among the best in Canada for outdoor dining this year.
On June 11, OpenTable revealed the Top 100 Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Canada for 2024. Featuring a range of venues across multiple provinces, the list highlights some amazing patios to visit, from fine dining establishments to cozy bars.
To create the list, OpenTable analyzed over 1.1 million verified diner reviews and dining metrics from February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024.
The restaurants were given a score based on factors such as diner ratings, the percentage of five star reviews, the number of alerts set and the percentage of reservations made in advance.
The three Ottawa restaurants included in the list are Arlo, Bar Lupulus and SOCIAL.
Arlo is a neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar serving up continental dishes and boozy drinks. You can enjoy menu items like steamed Quebec snow crab and crispy potato pave on the colourful patio.
Bar Lupulus serves up contemporary Canadian cuisine and is home to a "backyard patio oasis." The menu includes dishes like pasta, beef tartare and cheesecake.
You'll feel like you're in Europe as you dine on the patio at SOCIAL. The French and Canadian restaurant serves up salmon, burgers, duck confit and more.
