If you're looking to escape the city and get some wondrous sights instead, why not plan a day-trip? Lake Powell in Arizona has amazing kayak tours that let you explore emerald water, slot canyons, and more! All you need is an itch for an adventure, and you've got yourself a fun-filled day ahead.

Hidden Canyon Kayak has a variety of water tour excursions, but its guided Lone Rock Canyon option is perfect for you and your bae.

The 3-hour trip is $99 per person and includes a tandem kayak rental if you can't bear to leave your S/O's side, paddles, life-jackets, snacks, dry bags, refillable water bottles, and of course, a tour guide!

Your jade-colored water journey is about a 3-6 mile-long paddle sesh around the Lone Rock area of the lake.

You'll get amazing sights that include a giant rock formation and distant canyon views.

It's okay if you've never experienced lake life via a kayak. The website states that no matter the skill level, you're bound to have fun.

Trips are available most of the year from February 15-October 31st every day between 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm.

As you make your way to the meetup spot, the website notes that you'll need to pay the $30 park entrance fee, which isn't included in the tour cost.

Just be sure to make it to the departure area 15-minutes beforehand; that way, you can prepare for your outdoor adventure

The description of the tour says you'll also have extra time to squeeze in a dip in the lake or go for a quick hike around the area.

Is anyone else thinking about making this a weekend-long affair?

There's something about shimmering green water that'll make you want to fill your camera roll with memories of a lifetime.
