If you're with Rogers, you might be wondering if there's an outage in Canada right now.

Customers are reporting issues with internet and mobile services, including SMS messages and SIM cards.

UPDATE: Rogers told Narcity that the issue impacting wireless services has now been resolved.

There have been service problems for Rogers customers and even Fido customers on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

The network outage page on the Rogers site said that there are possible outages impacting Rogers internet, TV and phone services in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

In a Rogers community forum, one customer posted that there have been "some issues with texting," like error messages that texts weren’t sent and old texts going from read to unread.

Another Rogers customer responded and said, "I have been having the same issue. Nothing is sending. I had SOS in the top corner, and it's not because of something on my end."

Someone else said in the community forum that their SIM isn't working and their phone is showing "SOS." They're also unable to raise a complaint or contact customer service because of that.

One customer posted that they no longer have data, and their phone is in SOS mode as well. They called Rogers, and there are two dozen people in line ahead of them.

Rogers has received complaints from people on X who posted that they are experiencing issues with the telecom company's services.

A few Rogers users on X also said their cellular data is in SOS mode.

Others posted that they are getting notices on their phones that they have an "unregistered SIM" or their SIM card is "not allowed."

Just before 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Rogers replied to some posts on X and told customers how to get help.

"It seems others are mentioning similar issues as well," the telecom company's support team posted. "Please report your issue to our technical support teams by calling 1-888-764-3771 so they may troubleshoot and lodge a ticket if needed."

Customers with Fido, a Canadian mobile network operator that's owned by Rogers, also reported issues with the wireless network.

"We are aware of an issue affecting some of our wireless customers' connectivity to the network. Our teams are engaged working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible," Fido posted on X just after 1 p.m. ET on June 25.
