Contributor

There are countless cozy things to do in North Carolina this fall. But one of the best has to be sipping apple cider slushies and munching on cider-glazed donuts. Millstone Creek Orchards in Ramseur has all your delicious favorites so you can chow down while you roam this scenic orchard.

You and your BFF can hit the road this weekend and head to Millstone Creek Orchards. This centrally-located spot is just an hour outside of Raleigh and an hour and 45 minutes outside of Charlotte.

Cozy up in your favorite sweater, grab your cutest boots, and make the perfect autumn date out of an adventure to this charming property.

You can try a free sample of their famous cold-pressed apple cider any day of the week. Stop by on Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., or Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Granny's Kitchen serves up sinfully sweet apple cider slushies. While you sip, you can dunk bite-sized glazed donuts into the dipping sauce for a mouthwatering flavor boost.

It's no surprise that many North Carolinians can't get enough of these tasty fall favorites. Winston-Salem resident Samantha Orfino loves all the sweet sips and treats at Millstone Creek and now regularly visits this hidden gem

"We found the location by accident and now return religiously for the copious pounds of apples, s’mores, tire swing pushes, and the perfect apple cider donuts!" said Orfino. "We’re donut snobs too so that’s saying a lot!"

Make room for seconds at the orchard and experience melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. Your tastebuds will thank you for it!
