Wondering where you can't shop anymore?

There have been so many store closures in Canada over the last few years.

Stores like Disney, Nordstrom, and Bed Bath & Beyond have shuttered all locations across the country.

While you can get products from a few retailers online, it'll cost you more than it would've if you could still shop in-store because of shipping fees.

So, here are a dozen retailers that have closed all stores in Canada over the last few years.

Disney

Disney stores in Canada closed in 2021.

Retail locations started to shut down in July, with stores in B.C. closing their doors. That was followed by locations in Alberta and Manitoba in August.

Then, the last stores — all located in Ontario — closed before the end of September that year.

Topshop

Topshop stores in Hudson's Bay locations and standalone stores in Canada closed back in 2021.

NYX

Cosmetics chain NYX announced the closure of all Canadian locations in 2020.

While you can't shop at NYX stores in Canada anymore, Walmart locations have NYX products.

Godiva

Luxury chocolatier Godiva had closed all 11 stores in Canada by the end of March 2021.

Stores were located in Toronto, Mississauga, Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal and Winnipeg.

Nordstrom

Nordstrom stores in Canada closed in 2023 after liquidation sales offered final discounts to shoppers.

While you can't shop in-store at Nordstrom in Canada, you can shop online with the American site and get products delivered to Canada.

Pier 1 Imports

Home goods retailer Pier 1 Imports announced in 2020 that it was closing all Canadian locations after filing for bankruptcy.

Carlton Cards

Carlton Cards stores in Canada closed in 2020.

That retail closure also included Papyrus stores.

While you can't shop at any Carlton Cards or Papyrus locations, you can still buy those cards at other stores in Canada.

Home Outfitters

Hudson's Bay Company closed all Home Outfitters stores in Canada by the end of 2019.

There were 37 Home Outfitters locations across Canada.

J. Crew

The last J. Crew stores in Canada closed in 2021, after the fashion retailer filed for bankruptcy protection in 2020.

Mendocino

Toronto-based fashion retailer Mendocino closed Mendocino and M Boutique stores in Canada after filing a notice of bankruptcy and insolvency in 2020.

The retailer's site no longer exists either.

Bed Bath & Beyond

In 2023, Bed Bath & Beyond closed all stores in Canada, which included buybuy BABY stores.

You can now shop the Bed Bath & Beyond Canadian online store, but you'll have to pay for shipping.

Lowe's

Lowe's stores in Canada closed in 2023 and were converted to RONA and RONA+ stores.
