Protestors Had A Surprise For The California Man Who Threw A Lit Firework At Them (VIDEO)
As peaceful protests continue to sweep the nation, there's one, in particular, that ended in a "light show." An arrest was made after police released a video of a firework exploding in Riverside during a demonstration. The suspect in question has been booked on illegal fireworks and probation violations.

On June 1, 2020, the City of Riverside captured this firework ordeal on camera.
According to a press release from the City, a driver stopped in the middle of the intersection of University Avenue and Orange Street before placing and lighting a firework on the ground.
"An unknown person in the crowd grabbed the firework and threw it back into this vehicle where it exploded," the release said.
After reviewing the video, detectives were able to obtain the license plate number and a photo of the suspect, 20-year-old Gabriel Castillo.
However, this firework car display wasn't the only one of its kind that day.
It was reported that "large commercial grade fireworks were thrown at law enforcement and ignited amongst crowds of people," too.

Castillo was later arrested on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, and booked on illegal fireworks and probation violations at the Robert Presley Detention Center in the city.
The RPD shared a video on Twitter on June 24, 2020, to remind people that fireworks are illegal in Riverside.
There's a minimum of a $1,000 fine per incident if you're caught with them.
It's safe to say, skip out on hosting your own light display this year.
