You'll Need A Reservation If You Want To Visit St. Pete's New Huge Waterfront Park
After years of construction delays and tentative opening dates, it’s finally here, the new St. Pete Pier! The grand opening is this Monday evening, June 6, at 5 p.m. but you’ll need a reservation if you want to see what all the fuss is about.
To help mitigate crowds, the pier will only be available by advanced reservation until July 12, after which it will be completely open to the public.

While tonight's opening night is completely booked, there are still tickets available for reservation dates throughout this week, so grab them while you can. Even better, the tickets are free, so you can save your pennies for the gift shops and other on-site experiences.
The new pier is 26 acres of open space, with activities revolving around the natural flora and fauna of Tampa Bay, plenty of places to eat, local art, and shopping.
