The holiday season is knocking at the door pretty early this year. The Hallmark Christmas movies are officially coming back to Canada soon and the first premiere is actually happening in October.

It's not the holiday season without addictive Christmas movies playing on a loop until the new year.

W Network will be airing all of Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas from the end of October to New Year's Day and there will be new premieres every Saturday and Sunday.

the first Hallmark holiday movie premieres

There's going to be a special early premiere to kick off the holiday season but it encroaches on another popular holiday.

Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses, starring Jill Wagner and Matthew Davis, airs on October 31 at 9:00 p.m. on W Network.

You might know Davis because he played Warner Huntington III in Legally Blonde.

A total of 39 movies will air as part of the Countdown to Christmas over the next two months including one about Hanukkah!

There's even going to be ten days of non-stop premieres every night from November 20 until November 29.

With this year's lineup of movies, there are lots of Canadian connections whether it be talent in front of or behind the camera.

Plus, you can bet a bunch were filmed here in the True North like in years prior.
