It's being teased that Tim Hortons' new menu items will be coming out sometime in 2021.

Jose Cil, the CEO of Restaurant Brands International, which owns the Canadian coffee chain, revealed that there are plans for a bunch of new product launches this year.

At Tim Hortons, there are a couple of menu items that are expected to become available in 2021.

That includes new lunch sandwiches and the expansion of cold beverages.

Tims has already launched some new items recently including freshly cracked eggs and a dark roast.

McDonald's Canada actually threw shade at Tims because they've done their eggs that way for decades.

For the other fast-food chains in Canada that Restaurant Brands International owns, changes are coming too.

There will be a new chicken sandwich at Burger King and Popeyes is working on innovations as well.
