U Of T Was Just Ranked As Canada's Best University & It's Not The First Time This Year

Racking up awards, month after month. 🏆

Staff Writer

You can keep gloating, U of T students. Another ranking of Canada's best universities just dropped and the University of Toronto is in the top spot once again.

This latest ranking, done by the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), actually rates schools across the world, but the U of T ranked higher than three other Canadian schools in the top 100.

The University of Toronto was ranked as the 24th best university in the world, way below the top three schools of Harvard, MIT and Stanford.

But it did rank above McGill (27), the University of British Columbia (48) and the University of Alberta (81), just as it did when it was rated as the best university in Canada in April 2021.

In the CWUR ranking, the U of T scored highly on its "Quality of Faculty" rank (21st in the world) and "Research of Performance" rank (third in the world).
