Here's What Ontario Bars & Restaurants Will Look Like This Summer Under The Reopening Plan

Indoor dining is on the way.

With Ontario moving into step two earlier than expected, bars and restaurants are about to look a bit more normal this summer. Yet, if you're holding out for indoor dining, you're going to have to wait a little bit longer.

According to Ontario's Roadmap to Reopen, when the province enters step two on June 30, you'll be able to hang out with larger groups of friends the next time you go and grab a bite to eat. Outdoor dining will now allow tables of up to six people, as opposed to the limit of four in step one.

On top of that, outdoor karaoke will also be permitted, so you can finally belt out the lyrics to your favourite song again.

Ontario is expected to be in step two for around 21 days before moving into step three. So it is possible that by the end of July, indoor dining will finally open.

Under step three, indoor dining will open with capacity restrictions. Buffets and indoor karaoke will also be welcomed back.
