Toronto's holiday traditions will look different this year, and Kringlewood is no exception.

Many of the jolly 14-foot tall inflatable Santas that line Inglewood Drive each December are already standing, resident Carmen Tang told Narcity.

However, you might notice that some are a bit battered and bruised looking.

Thankfully, though, neighbour Line Forestier saved the day by performing emergency "surgeries" on the Santas with her portable sewing machines, Tang said.

"My Santa was one of them," Tang said. "He sports scar wounds from his surgery but is back up, although he is a bit wobbly."

While the Santas remain on display, the Inglewood Drive community has cancelled their annual Santawood street party this year.

Instead, they are hosting a food drive for the Daily Bread Food Bank this weekend, from December 4 to 6.

Visitors are encouraged to drop off canned goods at the participating homes on the street.
