A new dessert spot just opened in Oakville with $2 treats this Saturday

Lokma just opened, and it’s here to satisfy every dessert craving (plus some savoury ones too). This Montreal-based spot is celebrating its grand opening on November 9, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a pretty sweet deal: almost everything on the menu for $2! Expect a live DJ, a photo booth, their friendly mascot and even a raffle for a PS5.
If you’re wondering what to order, Lokma’s lineup has it all—from Turkish Lokmas (crispy, golden deep-fried dough balls that you can customize with a ton of toppings) to mini donuts to Kroffles (yep, that’s a croissant-waffle hybrid), Korean hot dogs and poutines. And good news for late-night snackers: it’s 100% halal, vegan-friendly and open late, so there’s something for every craving, any time.
The idea came after the founders fell for Turkish Lokmas on a trip to Turkey. Now, they’re sharing those perfect bites with a Canadian twist, and it’s clear the love is catching on—they’ve got two locations in the GTA and more coming soon.
