You can wander along 11 kilometres of sandy white beach at this spot, which will make you feel like you're on a tropical getaway.

Once you're done basking in the sun, you can dust off the sand and hit some of the numerous trails that run through the area.

The park features seven trails with around 30 kilometres of stunning scenery. You can explore one of the only remaining stands of old-growth Carolinian Forest in Ontario.

The Marsh Trail leads to a two-storey lookout tower, so you can gaze over the wetlands from up above. According to the website, this trail is currently closed due to flooding.

If biking is more your speed, the area has several trails for bikers, rollerbladers, and skateboarders.

The park is one of the best places to observe birds in Ontario, with many migrating throughout the spring and fall.

You can even stay overnight at the park for a summer weekend getaway.

The area has over 262 campsites situated in a rare, Oak Savannah ecosystem. You can book a spot by calling or online.

Presqu'ile Provincial Park is another spot that boasts boardwalk trails and gorgeous shoreline.

Pack up your beach bag and spend the day at Rondeau for a little summer adventure.
