According to a government press conference, Toronto high school students will only be going to class part-time.

Editor's Choice: Ontario Students & Teachers Will Wear Masks In Schools As Of September

15

Number of students in a cohort.

High schools in certain boards, including Toronto, will only allow their students to learn in-class around 50% of the time.

The other days of learning will be conducted online and at home.

While at school, those in grades 9-12 will be in cohorts of around 15 students to help practice social distancing.

According to 680 News, this plan will be implemented in 24 boards including Toronto District, Toronto Catholic, Peel and York.

For other school boards, that are considered lower risk, secondary students will be able to return to in-class learning full time.
