With summer in full swing, it's the perfect time to enjoy the warm weather and sunshine on a rooftop patio. Toronto has so many incredible restaurants with towering views and elevated terraces that will have you feeling like you're dining in the sky.

A recent study by SkyCity Online Casino ranked the top 10 best rooftop bars in the world and this Toronto restaurant earned a spot on the list.

Over 1,000 respondents around the world were surveyed to find out which rooftop bar views people loved the most. The responses rated eight, nine or 10 were tallied to create a list of the top 10 rooftop bar views in the world.

Toronto's Lavelle was named the fifth best rooftop bar in the world and was the only place in Canada to make the list. According to the study, 62.04 % of respondents rated the bar eight or higher.

The venue sits 16 stories above the city and offers a lounge bar, dining room, outdoor pools and cabanas. You can enjoy unobstructed, 360-degree views of the Toronto skyline while visiting this spot.

The menu features a range of Latin and Japanese-inspired dishes and you can dig into everything from sushi to wagyu sliders.

The only four bars to beat Lavelle are The Roof at Edition (West Hollywood), Panoramic Terrace at Hotel Colon (Barcelona), Scarlett (Bangkok) and Red2One (Santiago).
