If you've been craving the patio but are terrified of large spaces, then have no fear — this Vancouver Canucks patio could be the tiniest of its kind in Canada.

In a release on Monday, July 27, the Vancouver NHL team unveiled their tiny penalty-box themed sports bar to celebrate the new hockey season kicking off in August.

The Penalty Box Patio allows fans to celebrate two of Vancouverites' favourite pastimes that we have rarely been able to combine together before - NHL hockey and patio season

A group of fans got to try out the new patio before the season start and were served Budweisers and stadium food like hot wings and soft pretzels.

Despite its size, the penalty box follows all the guidelines for COVID-19 safety including regular sanitation, masked servers, and pre-screening customers for symptoms.

What better way to cool off in the scorching summer and fiery hockey season than with a stay in the penalty box?
