WestJet Plans To Bring Back All Of Its Canadian Flight Routes By June 2021

In a new statement, Canadian airline WestJet confirmed its plans to fully restore all domestic flight routes by June 2021.

This includes services to Charlottetown, Fredericton, Moncton, Sydney and Quebec City — where routes were previously slashed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The flights are set to resume beginning June 24, 2021, through to June 30, 2021.

Services between St. John's and Toronto will also restart as of June 24, 2021, while routes between St. John's and Halifax will now resume as early as May 6, 2021.

The airline explained that reinstating these flights by summer will “restore WestJet's complete network of pre-COVID-19 domestic airports.”
