Alberta Had The Most New COVID-19 Cases Of All The Provinces On Sunday

The province has smashed daily case records for four days in a row.

A remarkable jump in Alberta COVID-19 cases reported on Sunday, November 22 had the province recording the most in the country for that day. 

The Government of Alberta released new numbers on Sunday which reflected the confirmed cases from the previous 24 hours. 

While Alberta was just one of four provinces that broke their own records on Sunday, it was the province with the most reported cases on that day.

1,584 Alberta cases reported Sunday

Meanwhile, according to CTV News, Ontario reported 1,534 cases on the same day.

Next in line was Quebec with 1,164. 

While Alberta's neighbours to the west in British Columbia have totally locked down and even extended said lockdown, Alberta has yet to significantly tighten restrictions

At present, the province has 12,195 active cases, 5,479 of which are in the Edmonton Zone and 4,614 of which are in the Calgary Zone.
