You Can Catch Free Flicks Under The Stars This Month At This Spot Near Atlanta

Now showing: classics and modern day faves.
Contributor

The City of Brookhaven right outside of Atlanta is hosting outdoor free movie nights all through August and they'll be split between drive-in and non-drive-in screenings.

Reservations are not required to catch these flicks, but it's best to arrive between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to all showings to snag the best spot. The show will start at 9 p.m., and you can even bring your furry friend along.

Whether it’s a drive-in movie option or simply a movie viewed from a blanket or lawn chair, guests can choose which format works best for them.

Brookhaven

On August 6 and 20, you can find drive-in movies at Brookhaven Park playing School of Rock featuring Jack Black on the 6th and 2020's animated Sonic the Hedgehog on the 20th.

The non-drive-in films will play on August 7 and 21. Space Jam will let you relive your childhood on the 7th at Lynwood Park, while 2019's Addams Family on the 21st at Skyland Park will have you humming and snapping the old-school tune.

There won't be concessions for sale at any of the showings, but movie-goers are encouraged to bring their own snacks or stop into a local restaurant before the show.
