You Can Get Loved On By Rescue Wolves For $35 At This Preserve Near Georgia

Be one with the pack and support conservation efforts 🐺

Florida is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from The Peach State and is a great place to take a road trip to for a quick weekend getaway. Only around four and a half hours out of Atlanta, this wolf sanctuary in Florida is an experience you won't find in Georgia and one you absolutely must check out in at least once in your life. Not only is it a cool activity, but it's pretty affordable, too.

Seacrest Wolf Preserve is located on the western panhandle of the state in Chipley, Flordia. It's a non-profit organization that's been around for over 20-years and all the animals here are rescues.

The mission of the preserve explains that this location has been dedicating its efforts to both wolf and wildlife conservation through their science-based educational tours —with over a dozen of what they call Ambassador Wolves working with their education team.

The team teaches the public all about these animals, so you'll be in good hands. This rescue preserve has 30 wolves, as well as a handful of coyote, foxes, raccoons, skunks, and foxes.

There are four different tours this location offers: Saturday Group ToursPrivate VIP ToursPrivate Group Tours, and Professional Photography Sessions.

For the classic group tour, you'll only pay $35 plus tax for your experience. You'll enter the wolf habitat and be able to get up close and personal with these furry friends.

There are Artic and Grey wolves that you'll learn all about and be able to interact with without fences, then you'll end your journey by taking a visit to the small animal adventure section.

The preserve even has a program where you can "adopt a wolf." This program helps the organization to make sure the wolves have the highest quality foods, vet care, and educational program as they continue their education and conservation efforts.

There are different levels offering different goodies, but with the basic $50 level you'll get a certificate of the adoption, a bio and photo of your wolf, a fact sheet about the wolves at the preserve, and updates on them.

Be sure to read over all the rules and regulations before you arrive, a dress code is required before you can enter the habitats, but you're sure to have a Saturday of a lifetime when you visit this little slice of animal heaven.
