U.S. News released its list of the "Best Places to Visit in Canada for 2025," highlighting 15 must-visit spots from across the country.
The destinations were chosen based on factors including affordability, entertainment options, diversity of hotels and resorts, and user votes.
One of the featured spots is just under 2 hours away from Ottawa, so you'll want to pack your bags.
Mont-Tremblant, a city in Quebec, ranked as the fourteenth best place in the country to visit this year. The city is nestled in the picturesque Laurentian mountains and is known for its ski resort and outdoor activities.
The Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort boasts stunning slopes, quaint shops, dreamy streets and drool-worthy restaurants.
"The European-inspired village, vibrant après-ski, and nightlife have earned Tremblant numerous awards," the website says. "Plus, you’ll experience the French vibe and the famous 'joie de vivre'."
U.S. News also suggests a trip to Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, where you'll discover sparkling lakes, flowing rivers and scenic trails perfect for a warm-weather adventure.
Other attractions include relaxing spas, skating trails, gondola rides, heritage tours and more.
Several other Ontario destinations made the list of places to visit this year, with Niagara Falls coming in at third place.
