You Can Get Free Tacos From Taco Bell Next Week & You Don’t Even Have To Leave Your Couch

Let's taco 'bout it.

Sponsored Content Contributing Writer, Studio

Look up in the sky: it's a bird, it's a plane, it's a... taco? Have you ever noticed how many things look like tacos? The crescent moon, a bridge, a patio umbrella — it's like tacos are everywhere.

Maybe you've been stuck inside for so long that you think you're seeing a mirage. But you're not dreaming, Taco Bell's new I See A Taco campaign, featuring the iconic semi-circle shape, will have you seeing tacos in the strangest of places this summer.

To celebrate this universally loved food, on August 11, Canadians can get their hands on a free Crunchy Taco from Taco Bell all day long. Because who doesn't love a taco? Better yet, who doesn't love a free taco?

There's no catch either; you just get a free Crunchy Beef or Bean Taco.

Taco Bell has a couple of ways to get it into your hands on the day. Between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on August 11, you can head to your local Taco Bell (or place an order on DoorDash or UberEats) to grab your free taco, and if you miss the window (or don't want to wait until the afternoon) you can order online via Taco Bell's website at any time during the day.

In addition to a full day of free tacos, Taco Bell is giving away more free food and other awesome prizes with the #ISeeATaco campaign. Starting August 2 and running while supplies last, all you have to do to be in with a chance to win is snap a pic every time you see something that resembles the iconic taco shape, and share it on social media with the hashtag #ISeeATaco (don't forget to tag Taco Bell Canada).

You might even have spotted some suspicious tacos already. If you've seen some ads for a new fragrance, Tacómme, or Tah-kö Design popping up in your neighbourhood, you may want to scan the QR code at the bottom and see who is really behind it.

So go out, find and share any taco shapes you spy in the wild. Who knows? It could score you some free food or prizes. Once you start noticing that classic shape, you won't be able to stop (just try not to drool in public).
