Cineplex is offering cheap movies in Canada this week!

But you have to buy tickets a certain way to get them for just $3.99, otherwise you'll have to pay more.

From Monday, March 10 to Friday, March 14, Cineplex Canada has a deal on family-friendly movies for March Break.

You can watch these movies for $3.99 plus tax throughout the week, but you need to buy tickets in theatres.

If you buy movie tickets online, you'll have to pay $5.49 — $3.99 for the ticket and $1.50 for Cineplex's online booking fee — plus tax.

Scene+ memberships pay $4.99 ($3.99 + $1 online booking fee) and CineClub members pay $3.99 (booking fee waived) when purchasing movie tickets online.

With this March Break Movies deal, showtimes are during the day so the entire family can watch a film while kids are out of school for the week.

These are the March Break Movies at Cineplex this year:

  • Transformers One
  • Despicable Me 4
  • The Wild Robot
  • Trolls Band Together

Cineplex also has a Family Favourites deal that offers family-friendly movies for $3.99 (plus applicable taxes) on Saturdays.

You can watch Trolls Band Together on March 15, Secret Life of Pets on March 22, and Migration on March 29.

Like the other deals at Cineplex, $3.99 is the in-theatre price which means you get that price when buying movie tickets at a theatre in Canada.

If you buy tickets online, prices are:

  • $5.49 ($3.99 + $1.50 online booking fee)
  • $4.99 for Scene+ members ($3.99 + $1 online booking fee)
  • $3.99 for CineClub members (booking fee waived)

Cineplex said that the online booking fee allows you to select your seats and share digital tickets. It applies to the first four tickets purchased in a single transaction.
