When it comes to companies that are wealthier than countries, there are quite a few that are worth more than Canada is as a nation.

This ranking compares the GDP of countries to the net worth of companies in 2019 and Canada comes in 13th place behind nine countries and three companies.

Our country is ranked after the U.S., China, Japan, Germany, India, the U.K., France, Apple, Italy, Saudi Aramco, Brazil and Microsoft.

However, we are richer than Amazon, Telsa and Facebook.

Canada has a GDP of slightly more than $1.7 trillion while Apple, in 8th place, has a net worth of over $2.2 trillion and the U.S., in the first place, has a GDP over $21 trillion!
