Dr. Tam Says 'Better Days Are Ahead' For Canada Thanks To Vaccines

As we're still dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, Dr. Theresa Tam has some words of hope for the country because of vaccines.

The country's top doctor tweeted about the anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic being declared and reflected on what's happened since January 2020 including cases, deaths and virus variants.

Dr. Tam said that the response to the virus has been a team Canada effort.

She also noted that it's been a difficult year and that everyone has made sacrifices but there's hope right now.

The top doctor said that with COVID-19 vaccines being administered across the country now, "better days are ahead" for Canada.
