CSIS jobs for Security Screening Investigators are available in Burnaby, Toronto and Montreal.

As a Security Screening Investigator, you will:

  • conduct security interviews and assessments to grant security clearances for CSIS applicants and contractors while following standards and procedures
  • prepare and conduct interviews with references about what could raise security concerns
  • research, analyze, assess, and corroborate relevant information
  • prepare interview reports with relevance and accuracy

For this position, the CSIS salary is $87,459 to $106,386 a year.

If you want to apply for a Security Screening Investigator job, you must be a Canadian citizen.

You need a high school diploma and seven years of experience, a college diploma and four years of experience, or an undergraduate degree and two years of experience.

That experience must be in conducting interviews or investigations for assessment purposes and making recommendations, and producing detailed reports.

Also, you must have a valid and permanent Canadian driver's license — a G Class license in Ontario or a Class 5 license in the rest of Canada.

You need to be eligible to receive an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance.

The process involves a security interview, a polygraph, and a background investigation that includes financial verifications.
