Dallas is a massive city so if there are still places left unexplored by you, don't feel disappointed, it's hard to explore it all. One hidden gem that should be at the top of your list the next time you're craving a day outdoors is Eagle Mountain Park in Fort Worth. The park has hiking trails perfect for beginners and views of Eagle Mountain Lake that are practically unbeatable.

Eagle Mountain Park truly has it all, and there's never been a better time to visit it than during a sunny day.

The sun is shining brighter than ever in good 'ole Dallas, making going outdoors irresistible.

The park is 400 acres of pure beauty, being right next door to Eagle Mountain Lake and home to trails, bridges, wildlife, and more.

Thanks to the park being untouched, native animals and plants still remain and thrive there daily. They'll make your visit that much more fun, too!

Eagle Mountain Park is free to visit, and not far from a body of water to cool off and take a dip in.

According to the Tarrant Regional Water District's website, the park is open from dawn till dusk.

That way, visitors can experience what it's like first thing in the morning, or watch the sun go down from one of the trails at night.

You can take a look at the full map here to prepare for an awesome day outdoors. After all, when nature calls, you must answer!

Light outdoors shoes, a water bottle, and a hat or sunscreen are recommended when tackling this easy outdoor trail.
