Trick Or Treating Is Still Allowed In Alberta This Halloween But Our Top Doctor Is Worried
With Halloween around the corner, people have been dying to know if trick-or-treating is happening despite COVID-19 in Alberta.
In a press conference on September 17, Dr. Deena Hinshaw said she knows Halloween is on people's minds and it's something many Albertans look forward to.
She admitted things will look different this year, but she did say that the holiday can still be celebrated.

"Ultimately with any activity that we do during COVID times, we need to think about how to do it safely," she added.
The main concern, according to Alberta's top doctor, is that the trick-or-treating may put people at risk of getting and spreading COVID-19.
As of right now, Alberta Health Services has not issued any guidance for trick-or-treaters.
Hinshaw did mention that the province is working on some guidelines and more should be released soon.
