A video of an argument between two customers and a McDonald's employee at a drive-thru in Edmonton has gone viral, and many are siding with the employee.

In the video, two customers appear to be demanding a refund for their food as they say they do not want to drive over to the waiting spot.
Although they paid with their phone at the first window, at the second window, they demanded to be refunded in cash and claimed that they did not have the initial payment method any longer.
"If you're refunding my money you have to give me cash," the man in the driver's seat says as he and the woman in the passenger seat film the employee.
The woman in the passenger seat says to the employee, "This is Edmonton, Alberta, girl. You're in Edmonton. Where are you from?"
She also tells the employee to speak English, despite the whole interaction happening in English, and also tells her to get a career.
After more arguing, the man tells the employee that he'll be phoning his lawyer and that he'll be suing her and McDonald's.
He also tells her that he has 50,000 followers on Instagram and that he'll be posting the video.

It's unclear whether the man actually posted the video to his own account, but on the TikTok account where it was uploaded, many sided with the employee and quite a few people in the comments echoed each other's sentiments on how the two customers made them feel.
"As a Canadian that lives in Alberta I'm embarrassed for them!" wrote one user.
"All of a sudden I’m embarrassed to be living in Edmonton," said another, with one other saying, "As somebody from Edmonton, I am extremely embarrassed!! Unfortunately, I am not surprised..."
While some did say that they disliked having to pull into a waiting spot for fast food, most agreed that the employee didn't deserve the treatment she received.
"I 100% would have started crying and walked away," said one person. "No one is paid enough to deal with this nonsense."
"Imagine being in that car and thinking you're winning," said another.
