A Canadian actor is proud of his ethnic name and he's not afraid to let everyone know it.

Sugith Varughese of Kim's Convenience took to Twitter to say that, although he may have a name that isn't great in showbiz, he's proud to have carried it for the last four decades.

The actor said that he never changed his name because he broke into the writing world with it and once he began acting "it was too late."

"And no one thought I’d get much work as an actor anyway so I don’t think they thought it would matter," he continued.

Varughese played Mr. Mehta on the beloved television series, which has recently announced it would sadly wrap after five seasons.
