The federal government intends to use these influencers for various public health campaigns, including sharing information about vaccines, according to CBC News.

While there are no specific influencers or celebrities lined up for the job, Health Canada says each individual will be “identified and vetted based on objectives and specific target audiences for the campaign."

During the COVID-19 pandemic, several high-profile Canadians have spoken up about health-related issues. This includes Ryan Reynolds, Seth Rogen and Michael Bublé, who previously joined Justin Trudeau in asking Canadians to stay at home.

Health Canada has a robust website with all the latest information on the vaccines and can answer any questions you may have. Click here for more information.
