Billie Eilish’s Parents Almost Sent Her To Therapy Because Of Her Justin Bieber Obsession

She used to keep "As Long As You Love Me" on repeat!

Emotions are running high! Billie Eilish might just be Justin Bieber's biggest fan and even had her parents consider sending her to therapy when she was younger. She recently admitted that the Canadian's music made her sob uncontrollably and had her family totally concerned.

In a recent episode of Eilish's Apple Music podcast, me & dad radio, she was joined by her mom Maggie as a special guest, alongside her dad Patrick who she normally shares the mic with.

Reflecting back on her younger years, the 18-year-old admitted that she used to watch Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me" music video and "just sob."

Speaking about that song, Maggie added, "I just happen to remember this one really well, and the video and Billie talking to me about it and being excited that it was coming out and just crying and crying."

The family recalled playing the hit along with any and all of Bieber's songs while driving a young Eilish to her dance studio.

"I just want to say, we did consider taking you to therapy for how incredibly — you were in so much pain over Justin Bieber," Maggie said. "It was so intense, it caused you so much pain!"

A shocked Eilish replied, "You did?! Oh, that's embarrassing."

During the podcast, Eilish and her parents popped on the exact song that affected her most and she couldn't even stand to listen to the whole thing without tearing up.

She's been pretty open about her adoration for Bieber, though.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Eilish gushed about the "Baby" singer back in March 2019 before they ever met.

"It started when I was, like, 12, I believe," she told ET. She added that she also had giant posters of his face taped all over her bedroom walls.

Eventually, the artists met and ended up collaborating on a "Bad Guy" remix last summer.

Those same posters Eilish described made an appearance in the image used for the video. It features the singer wearing a sequined pink dress and standing in her room surrounded by Bieber photos on her walls.

In December, Eilish shared their funny but awkward first meeting story, where the two stood five-feet away from each other at Coachella as Bieber stared her down.
