Officers and members of the local Police Dog Service (PDS) began searching around 3 p.m.

Soon, the PDS was led by canine “Jagger”, who traced a scent through the woods and eventually to a gravel pit where the child was found safe.

Terleski said that the PDS’s wonderful response led to a successful search.

He said he’s thankful for their assistance.
