After five days of searching, it's reported that Naya Rivera from Glee was found dead in Lake Piru in California.

Rivera was first reported missing on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, after her 4-year-old son was found alone on a pontoon boat drifting in the water.

Officials report that there's no indication of foul play and suicide as the causes of death.


Ventura County Sheriff 

The VCS received aid from over 80 people, including the use of helicopters, boats, and ATV vehicles. 

She was found in the northeastern portion of the lake.

At this time, the body recovered from the lake has been taken to the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office, where a positive identification will be obtained.
