Matthew Perry Is Offering A Major Discount On His Stunning LA Penthouse

Who doesn't love a discount? Just under a year ago, Matthew Perry's LA Penthouse was put on the market for a whopping $35 million. It turns out that the actor has had no takers, and has dropped the price by a considerable amount.

The stunning apartment is located on the 40th floor of The Century building located in Century City. After he purchased the property a few years back, Perry had it reimagined by Scott Joyce and LM Pagano, the LA Times reports.

The designers added "a bold color palette, moody velvet accents, a plush screening room and even a 'Bat Cave,' displaying an impressive collection of memorabilia inspired by Perry’s favorite superhero," according to PEOPLE.

Spanning 9,300 square feet, the penthouse includes an expanded master suite with dual bathrooms, a plush sitting area, and walk-in closets.

Other noteworthy features include four terraces, a screening room, three other bedrooms, and eight total bathrooms.

The Century building itself boasts four acres of gardens and walking paths, a fitness studio, a swimming pool, and concierge and security services, per the LA Times.

Perry initially purchased the property three years back for $20 million, and after spending nearly a year on the market, he's reduced the price to $27 million.

When it was first put on the market, Forbes reported that the actor's "mansion in the sky" was the most expensive condo for sale in the city.

The property is currently being listed by Greg Holcomb and Cassandra Petersen at Compass.

"Four massive terraces provide an abundance of outdoor space while 360-degree views mesmerize at all times of the day & night with a glorious symphony of light & landmarks from the downtown skyline to the ocean," the description reads.

With the reduced price, buyers would be spending nearly $3,000/square foot to own Perry's incredible suite.

The Friends actor isn't the only Canadian star to reside in such fancy digs. Several of our country's biggest stars have lived in extravagant homes over the years.
