Canada has not given approval yet because data from Moderna is still needed for review.

There's no definite timeline for when the final word on this vaccine will be given but it's expected to happen in the coming weeks.

Health Canada said it's working with regulators like the U.S. FDA, which approves vaccines, to share data and information that's being reviewed.

If approved, Canada is set to receive 168,000 doses from Moderna before the end of December.

Recently, Justin Trudeau said that he'll "be as close to the front of the line" as he can get after priority populations are vaccinated.
