A Maine Police Department Is Trolling Americans Who Want To Move To Canada

Apparently we're "the land of the majestic —poutine-fattened— beaver."

With many Americans contemplating a move to Canada, this police department in Maine is trolling them for wanting to come here.

The Bangor Police Department posted a hilarious message to Americans on Facebook about what might happen after the outcome of the election is confirmed.

They don't want people who've decided to move to Canada to go through Maine to get to our "wonderful country."

You should also keep in mind that the Canadians did not really invite you to come over anyway. Bangor Police Department

It was noted that Maine has many areas where people can enter "the land of the maple leaf" because it's a border state but Bangor police don't want people to do that.

The department also called our beavers "poutine-fattened" and suggested that Americans use a boat or plane to come into Canada.

"You should also keep in mind that the Canadians did not really invite you to come over anyway," the department said.

According to Bangor police, Americans shouldn't bring mace, pepper spray, firearms, weapons, lots of alcohol or their poor attitudes with them into Canada because we won't put up with that nonsense.

With the humour this post has, you might think it's not something serious but "move to Canada" searches skyrocketed on Google on election night and after the Presidental debates.
