This Ontario town is turning into a floral dreamland with garden parties and European charm

It's like stepping into a scene from 'Bridgerton.'

Lead Writer, Travel

This Ontario town is transforming into a floral dreamland, and you'll feel like you've stepped into a painting as you wander the blossoming streets. With flower-filled events and dreamy installations, the town will burst with vibrant petals and charm around every bend.

Niagara-on-the-Lake, an enchanting village 1.5 hours from Toronto, is hosting its first annual Niagara-on-the-Lake In Bloom Festival from May 9 to 12, 2025.

Presented by Vintage Hotels with the Tourism Partnership of Niagara, the event is a "floral extravaganza," according to the website.

The historic streets of Old Town will be brimming with gorgeous blooms and installations, transforming the quaint town into a scene from a fairy tale.

You'll discover more displays at local shops, hotels, wineries, and restaurants throughout the area. There's even a floral map that takes you through the charming streets to the beautiful installations.

"We're excited to bring Niagara-on-the-Lake In Bloom to life! From breathtaking floral artistry to unforgettable dining experiences, this festival is all about embracing the magic of spring," April Brunet, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Vintage Hotels, said in a press release.

The festival includes several floral-themed events, such as a Garden Fair at the Pillar & Post's Monet-inspired garden and a "Gardens of the World" Dinner Gala.

You can visit the Vintage Hotels website to see a complete list of events and make a reservation.

With spring charm and endless blooms, this new festival is a dreamy way to spend a weekend.
