Ontario has a secret magnolia alley with blushing pink petals and a tunnel of blooms

It's like stepping into a fairy tale.

A magnolia tree. Right: A person standing under magnolia trees.

A magnolia pathway in Ontario.

Lead Writer, Travel

You can wander through a floral dreamland at this Ontario spot. The destination boasts a canopy of pink blooms and a petal-lined pathway that looks like a scene from a fairy tale.

If you're looking for a magical spring outing, you'll want to plan a trip to this flower-filled destination near Toronto.

Magnolia Allée is a dreamy natural wonder located outside the Floral Showhouse in Niagara Falls, about an hour and a half away from Toronto.

It features a pathway lined with beautiful magnolia trees, which burst into bloom each spring, creating a blush-coloured canopy. There are over 50 Saucer Magnolias to discover along the trail, with beautiful tulip-shaped blossoms in hues of pink and white. You'll be transported into a floral dreamland as you wander beneath the blooms.

According to Niagara Parks, the blooms transform Magnolia Allée into "one of the most beautiful sites in Queen Victoria Park."

Magnolias differ slightly from cherry blossoms, another iconic springtime bloom. While cherry blossoms have delicate clusters, magnolias feature larger, more prominent individual flowers.

Magnolia Allée is free to visit, and while you're in the area, you can also explore the nearby Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse. This dreamy indoor garden does require an admission fee.

According to Niagara Parks, the flowers are currently opening and are expected to reach peak bloom by the end of the week, so plan that road trip!
