While Sunday's snowfall may have blanketed much of Ontario — with Toronto crushing its previous record for that day set back in 2007 — more is still to come.

The snow will start to make its way through the southern part of the province late Tuesday evening to early Wednesday morning.

According to The Weather Network meteorologist Jaclyn Whittal, "right along that 401 corridor, we could get some hefty snow to start things off."

"Wednesday morning's commute, on top of the snow that you already got, could be dicey" she goes on to say.

During the day on Wednesday is where we'll see the "bulk of the tape of precipitation and the temperature" according to Whittal, with Toronto at 6 C and London and Kingston at 7 C.

Ottawa will be seeing 5-10 centimetres on Wednesday.*

But the snow doesn't seem likely to stick around, as later in the evening rain is expected along with warmer temperatures with Toronto, London, and Windsor hovering at or above the 10 C mark.
