Ontario's 'St. Jacobs Sparkles' Is A Real Life Christmas Village Happening This Year

This will definitely lift your holiday spirits! 🎄
Contributor

Winter is lingering just around the corner and soon Ontario will be covered in blankets of fresh, sparkling snow.

One small town will have a little extra sparkle, though. St. Jacobs Sparkles will begin on November 12, 2020, with more twinkling lights than ever before.

Located in the charming village of St. Jacobs, this annual event will completely transform the town into Santa’s workshop.

In previous years, giant light-up reindeer and live Christmas carolers were just some of the special features.

Visitors will be able to wander through dazzling decorations, visit Santa and his elves, support local shops, and even win prizes.

The event will see a few changes this year to ensure a social-distanced environment.

Some shops will have extended hours and the event itself will last six weeks to give everyone a chance to visit.

Masks will be required while inside the stores as well.

So if you’re looking for places to get your holly jolly on this Christmas, then St. Jacobs Sparkles is definitely worth checking out.
