If you’ve ever wanted to ask the prime minister a question, this could be your chance! Justin Trudeau’s virtual “town hall” is happening on Wednesday and you can ask him anything.

Sharing a video to Twitter on November 28, the PM explained that he would be hosting an open meeting with Deputy PM Chrystia Freeland.

He said they’ll be discussing the federal government's plan to keep Canadians safe, as well as what supports will be on offer. 

“I’m hoping you’ll be a part of it,” he added, noting that the duo will be taking questions from the public.

The virtual conference will be held on Wednesday, December 2, beginning at 5 p.m. EST in French, and 7 p.m. EST in English.

Canadians can ask a question via video or submit one in writing, and both can be sent in advance via an online form.

The questions don't have to be about a specific topic, so it appears you can submit a query about anything!

The sign-up page for the event promises that neither Trudeau nor Freeland will see the questions before Wednesday’s meeting.

One day later, on November 29, the PM also shared a video about how COVID-19 in Canada has changed since the early days of the pandemic.
