A Halloween a year in the making!

Some people don't bother doing anything for Halloween, while others go all out with decorations.

Then there’s that one neighbour that goes so over the top you’d think their house is an actual amusement park.

Frank Foucault is one of those.

The amusement park — or house rather — is located on Spring Valley Drive in Ottawa and took about 20 days to put together.

But the planning started long before. Much longer.

Foucault said, “My wife starts planing the theme a year in advance.”

It should come as no surprise that this isn’t the only time they have done this either. Foucault also shared this video from his display last year, which looks just as incredible.

But aside from the over-the-topness of the decorations, he revealed changes were made due to COVID-19.

“Social distancing measures will be in place,” he explained. There will be no entry into the tunnel this year for one, and “we will be offering curbside candy pick up.”

So, if you find yourself in the Orleans area in the capital tomorrow, go check out this epic display.

Foucault will likely be looking forward to your reaction too. That is his favourite part of Halloween after all, he said.
