Your new summer adventure is here! The Pokémon GO Fest 2020 features a virtual two-day event that launches later this month and you can join in from anywhere in the world. Tickets are currently on sale so you can test your years of gaming experience in the ultimate online challenge.

According to the official website, the fest is happening worldwide on July 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Tickets are available for purchase in the in-app shop and are priced at $20.99 in Canada, according to Mobile Syrup.

On the company's blog post, they claim that half of the proceeds will "fund new projects from Black gaming and AR creators" and the other half will go to "US nonprofit organizations that are helping local communities rebuild".

Features you can look forward to from the GO Fest include increased Pokémon encounters where "over 75 species" will appear "in the wild, in raids, and as Special Research encounters," per their website.

You can also look forward to "five rotating habitats themed after fire, water, grass, battle, and friendship" that have different Pokémon and challenges.

Check out the Global Challenge Arena where you can collaborate with trainers from all over the world to complete challenges and unlock bonuses.

Plus, you can "complete event-exclusive Special Research to earn exciting rewards" that will be different each day.
