Prince Harry Just Shared The Sweetest Tribute After His 'Cheeky' Grandfather's Passing

On Friday, April 9, the royal family announced the passing of Queen Elizabeth's husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. 

Prince Harry's statement following Philip's death has been released to the public and it really gives us a feel for the relationship he had with his late grandfather.

While he noted that his grandpa will “be remembered as the longest-reigning consort to the Monarch,” he continued to say “he was my grandpa; master of the barbecue, legend of banter, and cheeky right ’til the end.”

Harry concluded by saying that Philip will be remembered and missed by the nation and the world as well as by himself, Meghan, Archie, and their baby on the way.

Prince William released a statement, as well, saying "My grandfather was an extraordinary man and part of an extraordinary generation."
