'Reacher' Star Alan Ritchson Is Back In Ontario For Season 3 & Here's Where You Might Spot Him

It looks like Jack Reacher is back in Canada.

Alan Ritchson, who stars as Reacher in the Amazon Prime show, shared a photo from the set on his Instagram Monday night.

In the photo, Ritchson has mud all over his face and essentially confirms the cast is back on location filming the show.

"Welp… we’re back. Season 3 of Reacher… crustier than ever," the caption reads.

Production on the show, which is filmed around Ontario, has been on a bit of a hiatus since last year.

The cast was in Toronto filming Season 3 in the summer of 2023 and production was scheduled to wrap in November.

However, due to the Hollywood strikes, the project was put on hold and is now expected to wrap up in March 2024, according to Hollywood North Buzz.

In June 2023, The Hamilton Spectator reported the third season of the Amazon Prime show would be filmed at Bayfront Studios on Queen Street North in Hamilton.

The outlet also shared that Season 3 will have eight episodes, like the previous two seasons and will be filmed in Toronto and Halifax.

As for which cast members will be returning in the third season, that's hard to say at this point since the Season 2 finale hasn't aired yet. So far only Ritchson is confirmed to be coming back.

In the action series Ritchson stars as Jack Reacher, a former military police officer who helps solve crimes and also takes justice into his own hands.

During an interview with Etalk, Ritchson shared that he can instantly get into "Reacher mode" even when he's not acting.

It happened on a recent trip to Montreal when he was on a date with his wife Catherine Ritchson.

"We were on a date in Montreal walking to a very nice dinner all dressed up and we saw somebody breaking into a car," Alan explained.

"I was like some justice has to be done here and I chased that dude for four blocks until I tossed him into a building and the cops came."

Maybe Ritchson will have more Reacher-inspired encounters as he continues filming Season 3.
