Alan Ritchson shared some behind-the-scenes facts about filming the Reacher Season 2 finale in Ontario with his fans.

In a video, the star of the Amazon Prime series also made it crystal clear how much he hates filming in the cold, something he's currently doing again in Toronto.

"What goes on behind the scenes at Reacher? Where do I begin!?!?" Ritchson, who stars as Jack Reacher, wrote in an Instagram post alongside a video message.

"There are two things you need to know about me," Ritchson says in the clip. "One, I love soup and two, I hate the cold."

He then dug into something that happened during the filming of the finale episode of Season 2, which aired on January 19.

"I don't want to ruin it for you, but there's a scene that takes place in and around a barn where both those things came to life for me," he said about filming the scene in the "40 below chill."

"While we were trying to shoot we had to keep our teeth from chattering, we had to keep the blood flowing. We had somebody there with a timer to make sure we didn't get gangrene," Ritchson continued.

"But the good news is there were some executives out that night and they got a taste of what we deal with on the show and you know what they did the next day? They sent soup to the crew with a little love note to warm our souls."

It looks like Ritchson has been dealing with the cold temperatures yet again in Toronto as he and the crew work on Season 3.

In another post shared this week, the actor shared how he had to film driving scenes indoors due to what he called "uninhabitable Toronto weather."

Season 3 began filming in Ontario in the summer of 2023 and then went on a hiatus due to the Hollywood strikes.

It's currently filming in Toronto and is expected to wrap up in March 2024, according to Hollywood North Buzz.

The good news is warmer temperatures are on the way for Toronto next week, but we still hope Ritchson gets to enjoy a lot more soup on set!
