2024 is officially here and so is a brand new drink from Starbucks Canada you'll want to sip away at for the rest of the cold season along with their other winter menu items.

On Wednesday, January 3, the coffee company announced the arrival of a yummy new iced beverage as well as the return of two drinks from years past that fans of the brand will remember fondly.

The new arrival is called the Iced Hazelnut Oat Shaken Espresso and claims to be "hazelnute-rly delicious."

"Crafted with Starbucks Blonde Espresso, hazelnut syrup and smooth, creamy oat beverage, this plant-based delight eagerly joins the beloved Iced Shaken Espresso lineup, available year-round at Starbucks locations across Canada," says the company.

And for the returning favourites, fans of the brand can now once again sup away at the Pistachio Latte and Pistachio Cream Cold Brew.

As well, if you're trying to be a little kinder to the environment in 2024, as of January 3 you can use your own personal, reusable cup when ordering in the café, drive-thru or when ordering ahead on the Starbucks app at all company-operated and participating licensed Starbucks Stores across Canada.

"At Starbucks, we envision a future where every beverage can be served in a reusable cup," said Michael Kobori, Starbucks' chief sustainability officer. "Offering customers more options to use a personal cup when they visit Starbucks marks tangible progress towards the future. We know our customers are passionate about the planet, and now, they can join us in our efforts to give more than we take, no matter how they order."

There's no word for how long the new hazelnut drink, the returning pistachio drinks or their general winter menu will be around, so if you want to get in on the good, grab your own to-go mug (maybe even one of their famous Red Cups, if you have one) and get to a store ASAP!
